The Gift Phenomenon [Philosophical Idea]

"If Something Is Not Openly And Generously Given, It Creates A Sense Of Indebtedness, Which Destroys The Feeling Of Gratitude Which Should Accompany The Giving Of A Gift."

"For A Gift To Be Welcome And Happily Received, It Must Be Given In An Open And Generous Way, Where The Recipient Feels That The Gift Is Not A Burden To Bear, But A Blessing To Cradle."

The Socioeconomic Playground [A Model For Understanding Capitalism and Socialism]

Capitalism says that the strongest, smartest kids are the ones who should thrive.

Socialism says that there should be policies in place which cater to making all the kids thrive.

Humanism says that all the kids are loving, generous and noble and that proven to believe that, kids become unlimited.

The Uber-Life Letter [Government Sponsored Citizen Checkup Letter]

Purpose Of The Uber-Life Letter

If a person's life is not progressing well, the Government sends a letter letting the person know that this is not acceptable that their life is sucking so badly, and that the Government will not allow this to happen.

Society Is "The Child", Government Is "The Parent"

Humanity is one big family.
When a person's own family is not sufficient to insure that a person is having a marvelous existence,
a person's extended family (their species) should step in and insure their life is an amazing one.

====

Excerpts From The Letter

- "We Will Not Allow You To Rot Away In A Meaningless Existence."

The idea of this is hateful to us and we will not let it happen.

- "You Didn't Need To Ask.
We Help Because We Want To,
Because We Believe You Needed A Hand.
It Was Our Decision To Reach Out To You."

- "We Know That You A Noble Person."
"We Know That You Are A Naturally Hard-Working Person."
"We Know That You Have Unlimited Potential And We Will Not Allow You To Have A Life That Is Anything Short Of Extraordinary."

- "We Know That You Have Been Raised To Believe That Asking For Help Is A Mark Of Shame,
A Mark Of Weakness,
But,
We Also Know, With Every Fiber Of Our Being,
That Once You Are Able To Stand Proudly And Nobly On Your Own Two Feet,
You Will Gratefully Relinquish The Help Given And Encourage Someone Else To Take It."

Constructive Sports [An Alternative To Traditional Competition-Intensive Sports]

These sports are ones in which people cooperate with each other not to "defeat", or "beat", or "triumph" over others, but to do something to help benefit others.

They are still very much physical sports, done with an emphasis on getting exercise, it is just that they are not conducted with a goal of "besting" someone else.

Where does the energy, the excitement, the pizazz come from?
Not from the adrenaline rush of "beating others" so much,
but instead from the intense satisfaction of having contributed something to the benefit and growth of others.

1. Shoveling Driveways
- How fast can driveways be shoveled?
- How well can they be shoveled?
- How many driveways can be shoveled?

There is a competitive element certainly,
but the benefit is that many people's driveways are shoveled.

2. Wood Chopping

Great exercise.
Certainly there can be a competition involved, but the focus can be placed instead on how much wood is being chopped to help heat other's homes.

3. Fix A Warp Reactor

This sport would require true cooperation and would be indeed very physical.

The Ownership Sickness [Philosophical Idea]

The purely human illusion that anything can be "owned".

It is an ideology to be evolved past,
past the animalistic need to protect one's food lest another animal steal it.

Human beings have the capacity to understand that there is plenty for everyone,
and that taking more than what one needs takes away from someone else.

The Educationally-Engaged Public Movement

A Societal Movement like the Civil Rights Movement or the Equal Rights Movement, whose focus is a dedication to insuring that Everyone is constantly being intensely educated with the purpose of making sure that every member of society is well-informed and qualified to lend their opinions and their vote to decisions on all areas of Social Policy.

Simply stated, we are not tapping into human potential because too small a portion of our world's population is encouraged to engage in tapping their potential.

Ample evidence of this is how poor our education system is in actually imparting knowledge which people retain after their "education" is complete.

Simply put, to truly make the progress that human nature hungers for, we need to be tapping into the INCREDIBLE POTENTIAL inherent in all human beings,
spreading the burden of solving challenges to the human experience over the entirety of the human species.
