Warm And Loved
Everybody needs to feel WARM and LOVED.
A Place You Always Belong
Wouldn't it be nice to go to a home where you always feel welcome and loved?
Career : For Retired People
When the time has passed,
and it is time to relax,
then is the time when the elder become the teachers for the younger,
and give them love and kindness,
because they are in the twilight years,
and they have peace in their hearts.
Warm, Affectionate People

The Support Group Revolution [Societal Movement]
For Everyone, For Every Endeavor, There Is A Support Group
Society makes Support Groups as common a phenomenon as pubs, or hockey games.
The Support Group Phenomenon
The Support Group becomes a tool, as common as a hammer.
The Support Group is a place where you are given permission to talk openly about what's really going on with you.
You know that the people in the Support Group won't push you away for being "too real"; they are there for the same reasons you are, to open up and feel supported.
World Of Warcraft Support Group
I think many WoW players would benefit greatly from having other people who understand them to talk to,
to explain why they feel compelled to spend so many hours of their life in escape to a world of adventure.
...it's just nice to be around people who want to open up and know where you're coming from.

Joy Exercise - An Alternative Approach To Exercise
Disney's Tarzan
How was Tarzan fit in Disney's movie?
He spent his days tree-surfing and swinging from vines.
The sheer joy of exploring his environment to his curiosity's desire.
Spider-Man
Spider-Man stays fit by spending his nights swinging from skyscrapers, running across rooftops, scaling walls.
He loves doing it.
He loves the sensation of interacting with his environment on this powerful level.
Hercules
I read one story where Hercules was described as a child delighting in just the sensation of running across the verdant hills, swimming in the bright rivers, scaling mountains in his path.
He became fit by the sheer joy of exploring his environment with total freedom.
His joy carried him through his exercise.
Not Competitive Sports, Not About Outperformance
There is no competition here.
This is not about beating the other team.
This is about participating in the sheer joy of existence, the sheer joy of a powerful body and exploring its abilities.
The Gym
The Gym feels like maintenance,
like a responsibility,
like an obligation,
like giving your car an oil change,
or vacumning your carpets.
There is no joy in it,
it's something you have to do to stay looking acceptable and not inspire disgust in others.
There is no joy in it.
No joy at all...
It is a factory,
and you treat yourself like a product,
just another number on the conveyor belt...
sick...
Joy Exercise
When exercise is a pleasure, not a burden, a person becomes fit with great rapidity, and, most importantly, it enhances a person's life, rather than deplete it.

The Inner Energy Cloud or Energy Blob [Movie Visualization Technique]
Imagine that your feelings took on physical form in the guise of an energy cloud, or an energy blob, which changed shape and form in response to your emotions.
What does anger look like?
What does sadness look like?
What does happiness look like?
What does funny look like?
Emotions are intangible, invisible, mysterious,
would it not be intriguing to see them made perceivable?
I think the movie What The Bleep? presented a good model for this idea during the wedding reception scene.

The Honesty Club [New Kind Of Club]
The Truth Seekers...
Alternative names for the club.
Mission Statement
Vision - Templates For The Club
Corsicans : People from the Island of Corsica were renowned for being very passionate and for speaking their minds plainly.
And, unfortunately, for stabbing each other with knives if their disagreements were too formidable.
But it is the passion and openness that The Honesty Club seeks to emulate.
Slogan
"A chance to be honest and tell it like it is for a few hours a week."
Quote
"The truth shall set you free."
"You cannot have a true life unless you have honesty."
What Kind Of Club Is This?
Is it a Debate Club?
Yes.
Is it a Support Group?
Yes.
Is it a Think Tank?
Yes.
Is it a Philosophy Club?
Yes.
Is it a Networking Club?
Yes.
Is it a Book Club?
Yes.
What Kind Of People Would Like This Club?
Anybody who is tired of wearing a mask while relating with others.
What Kinds Of Issues Can Be Brought In To Talk About?
"How does everyone feel about stem cell research?"
"Does our current socioeconomic system truly honor human nature?"
"Do I look ugly?"
Ice Breakers / Closers
Each meeting would start with an "Ice Breaker" activity and end with a "Closer" activity.
Diffuse Tension
These Opening and Closing activities would be a great way to ease the tension which very likely arises from being truthful to one another.
Simply put, we're not raised to be this way and even though it is an irresistible human need to be honest, if one is not accustomed to being so, it can be quite a shock to one's system.
Questionnaires
Every meeting members would get short Questionnaires, on all aspects of human existence, to get them thinking on how they feel about the world.
Degrees Of Honesty or Categories Of Honesty
Members could request degrees of honesty.
Being overly harsh and critical is painful to bear.
Some people find raw, unadulterated truth invigorating, and others find it painful.
Members would communicate to one another, how much honesty they were willing to take.
However, the aim of the club is honesty, is to have honesty in club members dealing with each other, so everyone is encouraged to ask for one another's genuine truth.
Show And Tell
Bring in anything you want to talk about and submit it to your fellow Club Members for their honest feedback.
That's the point of the group.
To be with other people who remove their masks and give you their truth.
Examples - What Kinds Of Topics Are Appropriate To Talk About?
Not to paint with too broad a brush stroke, but, simply put, anything.
Courage To Take And To Receive
Being part of this Club would be a courageous act, because people give their opinions to one another without holding back about what they genuinely think and feel.
There will be many occasions when what someone has to tell you will be painful to hear.
The Benefits Of Friendships Formed From Honesty
You actually really know the people you have become friends with.
Emotions - Is It Acceptable To Show Them?
Most definitely, in fact, it is one of the central aims of the club.
In a society which discourages overt displays of Emotion and thus effectively denies people to be true to human nature, this Club offers an oasis, where people are encouraged to be honest and express what they truly feel.
====
Brainstorming
The idea of this club is for people to grow and get to know one another based on honesty.
I'm sure that many of the elements have already been done before.
Any sort of forward-thinking groups where people look for innovative ways to make connections with one another.

A Seeker [Viable Life Direction For Young People]
A Seeker. Ronin. Freeter.
A person who is "restless" and does not learn or grow by sitting still and looking up at a blackboard.
Seeking People, Not Professions
The Seeker seeks out "People", not "Professions."
"Anybody Can Do Anything When They're Believed In."
The Seeker seeks out people, out there in the wide world, who are
eager, open, generous
people who genuinely want to pass on their knowledge to others.
I call them True Teachers.
They make learning a pleasure.
The Seeker seeks out these people because they make learning the joy it should be,
they make life the rich and exciting experience it should be.
The Seeker : Personality
A Seeker is a person who does not learn well in a 9-5, predictable environment, philosophy.
They are Adventurers, they learn by doing new and exciting things.
The Motorcycle
The Motorcycle is a symbol of A Seeker.
It is the modern day horse.
With few possessions, A Seeker travels the world seeking people who genuinely want to share their knowledge and life.
The "Traditional" (Stagnant, Staid) Growth Path
Going to school.
Going to university.
Working in "jobs".
Rigid.
Inflexible.
Robotic.
Assembly-Line mentality.
The Seeker is a better path for a person.
The Test
There is a simple test to demonstrate that the "Traditional Path" gives a person very little.
Give a person one of the "tests" they passed in school or university a little while after the fact and see if they can pass.
They likely cannot.
People study for tests, not for knowledge.
It is a crusty, backwards way of cementing knowledge.
Learn By Experience, Not By Study
Learn by doing, Not by reading about doing in a book.
An Alternative To Conventional Career/Life Paths
Young people who find that the traditional schooling path is unsatisfying (which would sadly be the majority of people) would be encouraged to try many different jobs and experiences.
This would be the adventurer's life.
Learning by doing countless different things.
A "Viable" And "Acceptable" Alternative
It is vitally important that people feel "accepted" and "acknowledged" by their fellow human beings.
A Seeker would be welcomed by their society and understood as being someone who does not do well in a traditional learning setting.
Seekers would be encouraged to keep trying new jobs and experiences for as long as they need to until they one day feel "settled".

The Empowerment Industry [A New Industry]
Personal Preamble
I find the whole concept of Industry disgusting personally.
The word conjures up imagery of smoke stacks churning black poison into a pristine blue sky,
of green, chemical saturated water being poured into clear streams,
of stone-faced men in severe black suits eyeing coldly the movement of a red line on a white chart.
The word makes me think of all the Inhumanity the word Industry carries with it.
I use the word here because it is readily understood, but I'm working on another in my head with a cleaner, nobler connotation.
The Empowerment Industry
The title says it all.
A whole new industry dedicated to empowering humanity.
A whole array of professions dedicated to making people confident, courageous, and fulfilled.
The Life Coach would be the model career in this new industry.

Life Coach [University Degree Program]
Mission Statement
In our society we believe that a person has to count on themselves, that ultimately the only person who can make a good life for a person is themselves.
The creator of this course does not believe that.
The creator of this course believes that confident, caring, empowered people who are at a higher-energy level can raise other people "up and out" of the difficulties in their lives.
Our society believes that leaving people in difficult situations, strengthens and toughens them and makes them more capable human beings. For some, it does, and for many more, it does nothing but consign them to long drawn out lives of "quiet desperation."
Graduates of this Degree Program will be people who will not let this happen.
Graduates of this Degree Program will become people who "Draw A Line. This Far, No Further." A person is supposed to be having an extraordinary life. If they are not, one's fellow Human Beings will not rest until that person is back to the path of having an extraordinary life.
Vision : The Life Coach
The Life Coach is a person who is not willing to just passively advise a person in life, no.
A Life Coach is a person who has to "get in there", to actively change a person's life for the better.
The Life Coaches' Commitment
A Life Coach is dedicated 100% to insuring that others are living extraordinary lives.
A Life Coach goes out of their way, far out of their way, to do everything they can to make sure their fellow human beings are having a fantastic life.
Why?
Because they want to.
Because they care.
Because they believe,
"If I Am Having A Great Life, Everyone Else Deserves To Have A Great Life, And I Am Going To Do Everything In My Power To Help Them Have One."
Being Trained To Be One Of The Popular Kids, Who Helps Lift Up The Unpopular Kids
Life Coaches are trained to be one of those people who are beloved by everyone.
The difference is that they don't keep their charisma limited to their circle of friends, they share it freely with everyone and lift them up to their potential.
The Life Coach : The Friend You Can Always Count On
A Life Coach can be thought of as a Professional Friend, but that cold, antiseptic definition does not do the nobility of the career justice.
A Life Coach is a profound sort of friend because they have had life experiences which have filled them with confidence, and they have made a life decision to share that confidence with others.
They do not mean to replace True Friends, rather, they mean to take their clients to a magic place in their own lives where they are full of confidence and self-love and they can attract their own friends, by virtue of being themselves : the difference being, they are the best themselves they could be.
Pro-Active vs. Passive
A Life Coach takes a Pro-Active approach to helping people as opposed to a Passive approach.
A Life Coach actively participates in a person's life, as opposed to merely 'commenting' and 'making observations.'
High Energy vs. Low Energy
A Life Coach understands that a person at a Low-Energy level cannot be truly helped by another person engaging them at a Low-Energy level.
A Life Coach is a person at a High-Energy level, raising people up to a High-Energy level.
The confidence and fun of a Life Coach energizes their client and opens doors they believed were shut.
Beyond Self-Help Books And Counseling
You can give someone a book on how to tie their shoes.
You can advise someone on how to tie their shoes.
But there really is no substitute to showing someone how to tie their shoes,
physically, presently, one real solid human being with another real solid human being showing each other a concrete process, the more experienced human being guiding the other in real time, in real response to their immediate concerns and questions.
Self-help books.
Counseling.
They are NOTHING compared to the effectiveness of actual human guidance, human involvement, human teaching.
Quotes
"Give A Man A Fish, Feed Him For A Day.
Teach A Man To Fish, Feed Him For A Life."
"The Life Coach Is Trained To Have A Great Life, And Their Role In Life Than Becomes To Help Others Have A Great Life Too."

First Step : Empower The Student. Make The Students Confident Individuals
For the students to become professionals who empower their clients, they must first become empowered themselves.
Faculty : Psychology
Course : Inter-Client Relations
Move-Throughing [I don't like the word "overcoming"] Client's Resistance To Being Helped
A client's sense of "self-worth" is one of the great impediments to a Life Coach's ability to help.
Many people don't feel they deserve help, because they have not earned it,
because they have not suffered for it,
they are not special enough to deserve it.
This kind of thinking is a product of a hyper-competitive society which places paramount value on material gain and wealth achievement.
The Life Coach must wrestle with a diseased and self-destructive way of thinking and demonstrate to their clients that they are welcomed to being helped by the simple virtue of being alive.
The Life Coaching philosophy is one of helping everyone to have an extraordinary life just because life is a beautiful experience when not weighed down with chains of negative energy.
The Life Coach shows their clients just how extraordinary they are, and shows them that, once they are feeling fantastic about life, they contribute so much they earn their place in society a hundred-times over.
Once the barrier of unworthiness is passed, a person is free, and they give with unlimited potential to humanity.
Understanding Barriers To Achievement
"I can't do it."
A common feeling.
Where does it come from?
Simple : A lack of Confidence or Feelings of Unworthiness or, very likely, both
The Life Coach understands that when people have difficulty doing something, it stems from a lack of self-confidence and a vicious cycle of feeling unworthy because a person is too scared to do anything.
The Life Coach addresses these problems simply, by [together-moving : to move in tangent, in combination, in unison with another person, as if both people are one person. a combination of energies that appears as a complete melding together.] activities which demonstrate to their client just how infinitely capable they are.
Course : Family Life Coaching
In this course students will learn how to be a Life Coach in a family setting.
Students will learn how to plan FUN, EMPOWERING, CONNECTING activities for their client-families.
Family Camping Trips.
Training For Family Marathon Runs.
Planting Trees As A Family.
Working On A Family Soap Box Racer.
Building A Family Tree House.
Planting A Family Garden.
Life Coaching for a family results in the Life Coach becoming part of the family.
The Life Coach will find themselves acting as an intermediary very often, a family confident, a family buffer.
Family members will always have someone they know is impartial and clear headed to be able to confide in.
In this course students will learn how to become family mediators and to maintain their impartiality and objectivity, to be the voice of reason and the eye of insight.
Course : When You Dress Good, You Feel Good
Year One
Students will be taught how to dress for success for themselves.
When students have been taught how to look incredible themselves, their confidence will shoot to new heights.
Year Two
Students will learn how to pick out dynamite outfits for men and women, boys and girls.
Course : When Your Body Rocks, Your Life Rocks
Year One
Students will go through a Physical Education style regimen of personal training to help students achieve amazing physical fitness for themselves.
Year Two
Students will be taught how to organize Physical Fitness routines for their clients and how to motivate them.

because they have not suffered for it,
they are not special enough to deserve it.

Social Engineer [New Career]
There are many kinds of Engineers :
====
A Social Engineer would solve societal problems.
They would work as a team using a group, analytical approach to solving social problems.
====
I imagine there are already plenty of fields which do something just like this,
Politicians and Social Policy Makers are probably prime examples,
but, I think of Social Engineers as primarily Problem-Solvers,
people who Think Outside The Box, who are willing to think up a new way of approaching something.
====
Engineers are problem solvers.
They don't get hung up on political issues, or power struggles, or profit margins.
They are present to solve problems.
To collaborate together and figure out solutions.
- Electrical Engineer
- Chemical Engineer
- Structural Engineer
- Civil Engineer
- Mechanical Engineer
- Aerospace Engineer

Humans Are Animals First, Sentient Second [Anthropological Insight]
That Human Beings make their decisions based principally on their EMOTIONS is not surprising given that Human Beings are an evolutionary progression of animals.
Animals which are governed by their EMOTIONS.
The Neo Cortex is most developed in Human Beings.
The highly developed brain is unique to Human Beings.
But both are extensions of the Animal Core.
"LOGIC Is An Attachment To The Human Experience, Not The Core."
Human Beings are built on a foundation of Animal-Emotion, with Logic tacked on.
The strategy for living life is to use Logic to guide and channel Emotion so that it is used most beneficially,
NOT to replace Emotion with Logic.
That is most certainly putting the Cart Before The Horse.

The Gift Phenomenon [Philosophical Idea]
"If Something Is Not Openly And Generously Given, It Creates A Sense Of Indebtedness, Which Destroys The Feeling Of Gratitude Which Should Accompany The Giving Of A Gift."
"For A Gift To Be Welcome And Happily Received, It Must Be Given In An Open And Generous Way, Where The Recipient Feels That The Gift Is Not A Burden To Bear, But A Blessing To Cradle."

The Socioeconomic Playground [A Model For Understanding Capitalism and Socialism]
Capitalism says that the strongest, smartest kids are the ones who should thrive.
Socialism says that there should be policies in place which cater to making all the kids thrive.
Humanism says that all the kids are loving, generous and noble and that proven to believe that, kids become unlimited.

The Uber-Life Letter [Government Sponsored Citizen Checkup Letter]
Purpose Of The Uber-Life Letter
If a person's life is not progressing well, the Government sends a letter letting the person know that this is not acceptable that their life is sucking so badly, and that the Government will not allow this to happen.
Society Is "The Child", Government Is "The Parent"
Humanity is one big family.
When a person's own family is not sufficient to insure that a person is having a marvelous existence,
a person's extended family (their species) should step in and insure their life is an amazing one.
====
Excerpts From The Letter
- "We Will Not Allow You To Rot Away In A Meaningless Existence."
The idea of this is hateful to us and we will not let it happen.
- "You Didn't Need To Ask.
We Help Because We Want To,
Because We Believe You Needed A Hand.
It Was Our Decision To Reach Out To You."
- "We Know That You A Noble Person."
"We Know That You Are A Naturally Hard-Working Person."
"We Know That You Have Unlimited Potential And We Will Not Allow You To Have A Life That Is Anything Short Of Extraordinary."
- "We Know That You Have Been Raised To Believe That Asking For Help Is A Mark Of Shame,
A Mark Of Weakness,
But,
We Also Know, With Every Fiber Of Our Being,
That Once You Are Able To Stand Proudly And Nobly On Your Own Two Feet,
You Will Gratefully Relinquish The Help Given And Encourage Someone Else To Take It."

Constructive Sports [An Alternative To Traditional Competition-Intensive Sports]
These sports are ones in which people cooperate with each other not to "defeat", or "beat", or "triumph" over others, but to do something to help benefit others.
They are still very much physical sports, done with an emphasis on getting exercise, it is just that they are not conducted with a goal of "besting" someone else.
Where does the energy, the excitement, the pizazz come from?
Not from the adrenaline rush of "beating others" so much,
but instead from the intense satisfaction of having contributed something to the benefit and growth of others.
1. Shoveling Driveways
- How fast can driveways be shoveled?
- How well can they be shoveled?
- How many driveways can be shoveled?
There is a competitive element certainly,
but the benefit is that many people's driveways are shoveled.
2. Wood Chopping
Great exercise.
Certainly there can be a competition involved, but the focus can be placed instead on how much wood is being chopped to help heat other's homes.
3. Fix A Warp Reactor
This sport would require true cooperation and would be indeed very physical.

The Ownership Sickness [Philosophical Idea]
The purely human illusion that anything can be "owned".
It is an ideology to be evolved past,
past the animalistic need to protect one's food lest another animal steal it.
Human beings have the capacity to understand that there is plenty for everyone,
and that taking more than what one needs takes away from someone else.

The Educationally-Engaged Public Movement
A Societal Movement like the Civil Rights Movement or the Equal Rights Movement, whose focus is a dedication to insuring that Everyone is constantly being intensely educated with the purpose of making sure that every member of society is well-informed and qualified to lend their opinions and their vote to decisions on all areas of Social Policy.
Simply stated, we are not tapping into human potential because too small a portion of our world's population is encouraged to engage in tapping their potential.
Ample evidence of this is how poor our education system is in actually imparting knowledge which people retain after their "education" is complete.
Simply put, to truly make the progress that human nature hungers for, we need to be tapping into the INCREDIBLE POTENTIAL inherent in all human beings,
spreading the burden of solving challenges to the human experience over the entirety of the human species.

Singles Summer Camp [Reliving Youth Recreation]
Summer Camp Was So Much Fun!
Just because you become an adult,
doesn't mean the great activities of youth need to be left in the past.
Summer Camp : Every Day Is Something New And Fun
Summer Camp is a great way to meet people, and meet someone special.
The constant stimulation and array of new experiences makes for a high-energy level, which catalyzes new relationships between people.
Human Beings Were Meant To Live 300 Years (Or More)
I think so anyways.
With those kinds of numbers in mind, what is youth?
How old is young?
I think an event like Singles Summer Camp would help to remind people just how much energy they actually have locked away inside of them by the competition-mad brutality of the insane Capitalist system.
Maybe if people experienced the joy of youthful fun again, they'd remember that material wealth is nothing compared to the truth of real connection with others.

A person who is very skilled at being a friend, hired to be a client's friend.
Practice Makes Perfect

To help you break the ice.

Why not make a career out of it?

Government-Funded Life Coach [Government Funded Mental Health Professional]
Chocolat
Narrator : [Vianne felt the North Wind once more.] It spoke of towns yet to be visited. Friends in need. Battles yet to be fought. By someone else, next time. And so it was that the North Wind grew weary, and went on its way.
Vianne Rocher acts as a Life Coach for the entire sleepy town she comes to call home.
In particular, the downtrodden Josephine Muscat emerges like a flower released from the sticky tar of a swamp, thanks to Vianne showing her how much she was capable of doing, how worthwhile she really was and how strong she really was.
The essence of what a Life Coach does.
Ah! My Goddess! Ah! What Are Talent And Hard Work!
Season 1 Episode 17
- Someone else's unshakeable faith in you, can become your strength, until you prove your own worth to yourself.
- Beldandy just kept believing in Sora, kept on training with Sora, until Sora had the strength to believe in herself.
- No, "Life's tough." or "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Beldandy believes in Sora unconditionally.
- And...Beldandy shows Sora, over and over, there is nothing see cannot do.
- Beldandy is a true life coach.
Ratatouille
- The scene where Remy compels Linguini ,with his body controlling hair pulling, to kiss Colette.
- Linguini , otherwise , would likely not have done it because the poor guy lacks confidence in himself.
- Remy's act, that of a friend who understands a friend's need, is exactly what Life Coaches do.
- Life Coaches empower their clients.
- Life Coaches don't do things for their clients so much as they help their clients tap into the potential they didn't know they had so they are empowered to do for themselves.
Hitch (Will Smith)
Required watching for all Life Coaches. : )
A person who watches this movie can't help but think,
"I wish I had a person like Alex Hitchens in my life."
With Life Coaches becoming part of the mainstream of Health Care, everyone will.
Meatball I
Note : Meatball I and IV are about mentors involving themselves in the life of underdogs.
The main plot involves Rudy Gerner a lonely kid who is sent to summer camp by his father. Noticing Rudy is unable to fit in, Tripper takes him under his wing and each morning they go jogging and bond as friends. Tripper helps Rudy gain confidence while Rudy encourages Tripper to start a romance with Roxanne, the female head counsellor.
North Star now trails by only 10 points with one event left, a 4-mile run cross country run for 20 points. Tripper steps forward and elects a surprised Rudy to compete against Horse, Mohawk's star runner. The many mornings Rudy spent jogging and training with Tripper pay off as he wins the race, giving North Star its first Olympiad victory.
Meatball IV
Ricky Wade is a reluctant hot-shot, water-skiing instructor-protagonist, but once he realizes that the "losers" in his care really can benefit from his mentorship; he embraces his role and inspires his campers with new confidence and a bunch of fun memories to treasure.
Fairy Godmother
Cinderella wouldn't have gotten anywhere without her.
Vic Fontaine : Deep Space Nine
Odo and the rest of the Ops crew are introduced to holographic Lounge Singer Vic Fontaine by Dr. Bashir.
Vic has been programmed to be a savvy, wise cracking, charismatic, and good natured working gentleman of the 60's.
Upon introduction he makes keen observations about all of the Ops crew members, but hesitates on making a comment about Odo and Major Kira.
Vic can see plain as day that Odo is crazy about Kira and she, unfortunately, just thinks of Odo as a friend.
Odo notices that Vic is a very aware individual and smart and talented and Odo seeks Vic's help, and Vic proceeds to change Odo's life for the better, by showing Odo all the potential to fun and loving that lies not too deeply buried inside.
Note : Vic doesn't sit Odo on a couch and psycho analyze him. Vic doesn't propose making up a daily schedule and sticking to it with the hope that routine will bring peace to his life.
No.
Vic sees that Odo "needs" Kira to be happy, and Vic helps Odo get her.
That's what a "true friend" does.
Legend of Tarzan : Tarzan and the Protegee
The nephew of a Professor friend of Jane's father Archimedes comes to the jungle and meets Tarzan.
The boy is a shy, awkward boy who has been incessantly fussed over by his over protective Aunt and family his whole life, thus resulting in him being fearful, clumsy, and weak.
Naturally, Tarzan fixes that.
Tarzan shows the boy how unlimited his potential truly is.
The boy finds himself climbing trees, moss surfing, swinging from vines, diving off of water falls, and playing games with powerful wild animals,
all because he is believed in by Tarzan.
In fact, for Tarzan, there is never any doubt in his mind that the young boy has unlimited potential,
that he can easily keep up with Tarzan,
that Tarzan will enjoy his company with no sacrificing of his own personal fun
(sure, the boy might be awkward at first, but Tarzan knows that he will catch on).
When the boy leaves, he is a new person, confident and skilled, all because Tarzan opened a door to potential he probably would have never known he had.
Note : Tarzan didn't just counsel the boy. He didn't prescribe him mood altering drugs. He didn't put him in "special classes", Tarzan made friends and shared his personal sense of wonder, thus making the boy truly exceptional in the process.
Brawl In The Family (Simpsons)
Gabriel (a Social Worker) lives with The Simpsons family to find out how he can help them be functional.
The episode does not give sufficient time to the development of how much a Social Worker could benefit The Simpsons family, but Gabriel's intriguing idea about rescuing a Picnic Basket from a tree as a family exercise, shows a great deal of potential in how much benefit a family can derive from a "Proactive" approach to helping people.
Slogan
"I Will Not Allow Someone's Life To Pass Them By."
"I Believe In You, Even If You Don't Believe In Yourself."
"Giving Advice To Someone Is Great, But Actually Showing Someone How To Use Advice Is Even Better."
"People Can Do A Lot On Their Own, Sometimes They Just Need Help Getting Started."
Catalyst, Biology
In Biology, a catalyst is absolutely necessary for many chemical reactions to take place in the body.
Without a catalyst to lower the activation energy, two compounds cannot come together.
People are capable of doing a great deal on their own, but oftentimes, the input of energy someone external to themselves provides is essential for growth.
Spark Igniter
Everybody has a fire inside of them,
embers which are crackling away full of life and energy,
all they need is a spark to ignite them.
A Motivational Coach is that spark.
Mom / Dad : "Hey son/daughter, let me introduce you to..."
Dad takes son to hockey practice.
Mom takes daughter to ballet.
Or vice versa (it is the 90's after all...or the new millenium...or whatever)
Dad introduces son to carpenter friend who gives son summer job learning how to frame houses.
Mom introduces daughter to friend who gives daughter summer job as interior designer assistant.
Mom and Dad give their children opportunities which demonstrate to the kids that
they have potential,
they have untapped skills,
they can do anything they put their mind and heart to.
...sadly, the majority of kids don't have parents like that.
Parents are either too busy,
too tired,
or too burdened with their own stuff to extend themselves so far.
That is where the village steps in.
Enough with this ridiculous "stoic pioneer" idea of the New World.
"It Takes A Village To Raise A Child."
Government Funded Life Coaches will be the friend, the parent, the opportunity provider, that the vast majority of people never get in their long and empty life.
We have the resources.
We have the ability.
Let's do it.
The Government And Mental Health
The Government already provides funding for Crisis Workers and Psychologists and Psychiatrists,
why not for Motivational Coaches?
Where's The Solution?
Oftentimes, lots of the time, the solution to a person's problem does not lie in deconstructing their life,
it lies in them being told,
"I Believe In You!"
"I Know You Can Do It And I'll Prove It To You!"
People often do not need a passive, couch-bound counselor, talking to them about their problems,
they need somebody full of LIFE and ENERGY who will get them active and charged.
Clothes Shopping
People who aren't feeling good about themselves don't buy themselves inspiring clothes because they don't feel worthy of looking good.
A Life Coach could go clothes shopping with a client and help them pick out the clothes which would make them feel good about themselves.
Grocery Shopping
People who don't know how to eat healthy don't know how to buy healthy.
A Health Life Coach could go grocery shopping with a client and help them to buy foods which would provide for a genuinely healthy lifestyle.
Healthy Cooking
Health Life Coaches could physically go to client's homes and help them to prepare healthy meals with the healthy foods bought at the Grocery store.
Dating Coach
Seen the movie Hitch with Will Smith?
As he would say,
"Everybody needs a partner, to stand right by their side."
Many people are stuck when it comes to finding that special someone.
A healthy life needs people to have a partner in their life.
Coach Client-Strategy Team Consultation
Coaches would meet and discuss Clients and act as a team to address all aspects of a Client's well being.
Clients would feel truly special,
knowing that a group of talented, experienced, caring people were working together to truly help make their life better.
The healing would be very, very, very rapid.
Coaches would enjoy the companionship of being with other help-minded people and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing they were really changing a person's life into a beautiful, wonderful, heaven on earth experience..
Career Choice
By making the coaches Government funded, the Life Coach profession would receive a huge boost in need and popularity and provide many job opportunities.
This would be fantastic for the many people out there who are naturally High Energy, Outgoing, and Caring who love to share their knowledge with others and see the genuine results of their efforts.
This Career choice would appeal to many people.
People do care about each other, but they lack the guideline, the career path, which gives them the genuine sense what they are doing is actually really making a person's life better.
For such noble people, there is no better career choice than a Life Coach and no better group of people to work with than a Life Coaching Team.
Attracting HIGH-ENERGY People To Wellness-Health Care
It seems to me that high-energy people are not really interested in seeking a career in health care.
People who are high-energy like jobs which provide great rewards, financial, but, more importantly, in terms of being stimulating and interesting and FUN (we cannot forget how important it is to high-energy people to be having fun).
The traditional health-care careers are ones which are typically carried out in hospital and clinical settings which are relatively stale and antiseptic environments (certainly not fun).
Life Coaching becoming part of the mainstream health care offerings would provide high-energy people the career which allows them to be the creative, bright, fun-loving people that their nature directs them to being, while providing a career path which is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the public.
It is a win-win situation.
Fun people love that.
Types Of Coaches
Life coaches Intervene in the lives of people to make them better.
People are capable of a great deal, but sometimes they are stuck and can't get themselves unstuck and need somebody to pull them out.
Life Coaches are the energy when people have burnt themselves out and have none of their own.

Community Think Tanks [Government Initiative]
Slogan
"Everyday People Working On Society's Problems."
The Weekly Memo
Every week the Government would send out a Memo with 2 or 3 issues which are going to be debated and ratified with policies or regulations.
They would seek the feedback from Community Think Tanks about what they would like to see the Government pursue.
Participating In The Political Process
This institution would provide the public with an environment where they could feel like they are directing affecting the direction of the country (because, they are).
It would make participants feel important (because, they are).
Stimulating
For stimulating, genuinely exciting conversation to take place, there must be great importance attached to the issue being discussed,
the issue must "feel" like something worth getting passionate over,
worth investing energy and intense thinking on.
The Government sending out Official Government Memos to the Community Think Tanks would certainly make participants feel like what they were doing was important (because, it is).
The Tanks
Each Tank would consist of 7-15 members with a Tank Leader and Tank Secretary.
Each Community would have as many Tanks as were desired.
Sending In Ideas
Each Tank would submit their Weekly Recommendation to their Community Tank Leader.
The CTE would send in their choice to the City Tank Leader.
Each City Tank Leader would send in their choice to the Provincial Capital Tank Leader.
And the Government would receive a recommendation from each Province about the issues they send in their Weekly Memo.
...Like A University Study Group
A common practice in University, is to put together a study group to tackle a challenging assignment.
What is overwhelming for one mind to try to digest alone, becomes manageable, even interesting, when worked on as a group.
It is the difference between the pioneer who faces the wilderness alone and unaided, and the colonist who works together as part of a group to build a society.
Both are important.
Both have their time and place.
In fact, a person can metamorphize from one into the other, depending on what the situation calls for.
That is healthy.
Adaptation is healthy.
Trying to tackle complex problems on one's own is not.
----Further Thoughts----
The Center for Media and Democracy in the United States published a report detailing how ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council) was lobbying the American Government to pass legislation consistently favoring Mega Corporations like Coca Cola to introduce bills to waive policies like regulating carbon emissions.
The CMD encourages the American people to visit their website and examine the report for themselves.
Most people find that prospect boring and daunting.
Most people simply do not have the education and intellectual training to delve into complex documents.
This is where Community Think Tanks come into play.
People review the document together, over coffee, or dinner,
laptops at hand,
and pool their mental resources to understand the topic.

A Friend On The Other End [Public Service]
The Listen Lady
Based on the idea of "The Listen Lady" from an episode of The Simpsons.
NOT A Crisis Line
This public service would be for people who are just having "everyday" sorts of problems and need somebody to listen to them and give them suggestions and feedbacks (just like a friend would).
Crisis lines are fine, but for people who are not having a "crisis", but just need a friend to talk to and have some back-and-forth, Crisis lines are simply not the right format.
Crisis volunteers cannot give many suggestions,
they certainly can't talk about their own life experiences to offer perspective,
they can't enjoy a good chat on the phone,
they are there to help someone through a "crisis".
Sometimes, lots of times, people just need a friend to talk to, not a "Crisis Listener".
Volunteers
Volunteers for this service would be people who are just naturally very friendly and kind and love to listen and give genuine feedback.
www.Color Code.com
Volunteers can take the Color Code Personality Test to find out what their Primary Motivation is :
Volunteers and Callers can both propose speaking to a person of a certain primary color when they feel they need that perspective.
Pass It On
If a volunteer or the caller feels that they need to talk to someone else, they are passed to another volunteer, and are passed and passed until they feel better.
"We've been talking for the past 15 minutes and I think you would really benefit from talking to my colleague Kate. She's had a lot of experiences like yours and I think she could offer you some really helpful feedback. Shall I pass you to her?"
The Principle of 7 to 12
I think 7 to 12 are magical numbers in that they feel like the right number of people one needs to talk to before one feels easily capable of making a decision.
When you are confronted with a difficult decision, it feels important to get many perspectives and ideas before choosing a path.
A person reaches a point where they feel they have :
1. Gotten things completely off their chest
2. They have a lot of ideas and advice to consider and reflect upon
I think consulting with between 7 and 12 people,
hearing between 7 to 12 different points of view,
is what the human organism feels comfortable with processing,
what the human organism feels satisfied with.
And, we know, it is very important for a person to feel satisfied when they make a decision.
A Vital Service
Not everyone has friends they feel they can talk to,
this vitally important service would provide everyone access to friendly, kind people who enjoy listening to other people's problems and giving them heartfelt advice.
Extremely Popular
I do not doubt that this service would become INCREDIBLY popular and demonstrate to our society,
that the vast majority of us feel very disconnected from each other and that we can't genuinely communicate how we are really feeling to each other.
Creatures Of Truth
Human Beings are Creatures of Truth.
Truth is our natural state.
It is vitally important to be able to tell someone personal truth.
Lies are not nourishing,
quite the opposite.
Our society,
Our world,
Our history,
of lying being expected,
of lying being 'normal' because everyone did it,
is not the path to a healthy and happy species.
This phone service will give everyone the chance to easily connect with someone with whom they can speak the truth.
Slogan
"When you need a friend to talk to about 'whatever' we're always there to lend an ear, a telephone-shoulder to cry on, and advice on how to make things better."
"We WANT to hear about your problems."
"No matter how seemingly small or mind-blowingly big your problem, we want to hear about it, and help you solve it so you can get back to living life."
"Sometimes, you just need a friend to talk to."
"Don't keep your problems to yourself.
Don't bury your problems inside.
Tell us about your problems.
We're here for you, and we'll help you solve them."
"You might not think your problem is important, but we do.
Please call if you need to talk with a friend."
"An individual is extremely capable on their own, but they can't do everything.
When you need someone to help provide you with additional perspective, give us a call."
Part Of The "War On Loneliness And Isolation" Campaign
This could be part of the Government's initiative to address the root problem of loneliness in our segregated species and society.
FOR THE RECORD, I use the word "war" as a label only, because it is a very popular way of explaining how issues are being addressed.
Personally I think the label is primitive and unhelpful, but, I think it "fits" the current state of human evolution.

- RED (Motive: POWER)—These are the power wielders. Power: the ability to move from point A to point B and get things done, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of vision and leadership and generally are responsible, decisive, proactive and assertive.
- BLUE (Motive: INTIMACY)—These are the do-gooders. Intimacy: connecting, creating quality relationships and having purpose, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of quality and service and are generally loyal, sincere, and thoughtful.
- WHITE (Motive: PEACE)—These are the peacekeepers. Peace: the ability to stay calm and balanced even in the midst of conflict, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of clarity and tolerance and are generally kind, adaptable, and good-listeners.
- YELLOW (Motive: Fun)—These are the fun lovers. Fun: the joy of living life “in the moment”, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of enthusiasm and optimism and are generally charismatic, spontaneous, and sociable.

Emologist [Career]
Definition
Doctor of Emotions
Slogan
"When you cry with your patients, your tears join in the washing away of wounds."
Quote
"It is difficult to heal a patient's emotions, if the therapist cannot express their own."
Show They Care
Emologists can actually show they care about their patients by hugging their patients, holding their patient's hands, crying for their patients.
This is a direct contrast to traditional therapy which calls for the therapist to keep a "professional distance" from their patient.
Real healing cannot take place this way.
Patient
"I thought I didn't need hugs, that I was tough, but when the Emologist hugged me, and I could FEEL that my pain made them sad, really sad, the dams inside of me broke, and I cried like a baby."
"It felt...like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders...finally..."
Crying
Emo-Ologist's teach their patients how to cry,
they teach their patients that it is good to cry,
that crying is a release mechanism,
crying is a powerful form of communication.
Training
Emologists are trained to "channel" their emotions so they are not overwhelmed by them.
Since Emologists use their own emotions to heal their patients it is vitally important that emotions do not end up exhausting them.
Emologists are trained to gain strength from their emotions,
to find the water of tears lifting them as the crest of a wave,
to find the sparkle of laughter warming them as a bright sun,
to find the heat of anger kindling in them a potent flame,
Emologists are trained to become Masters of Feeling.
Thus they are able to heal their clients by teaching them how to experience their own feelings.

Graphic Cartoon Stress Meter
Premise
Graphical presentation of the effects of stress on a person for the entertainment and education of everyone.
Format
1. Cartoon Drawing Of A Person
2. Cartoon Drawing Of A Weight
The Person Is Holding The Weight On Their Shoulders
Stressors are added to the weight on the person's shoulders and when Stressors are added, the person shows the effects of the added stress.
Releases are actions which remove the weight from the person's shoulders.
Example
Stressor : Disatisfaction with Job
Effect : Acne Breakouts on Face
Release : Finding a job which brings satisfaction
Stressor : Social isolation
Effect : Sore knees
Release : Finding people who accept you
Conclusion
The more and more Stressors added to the weight the poor person is carrying on their back, the more and more negative Effects show up on the poor person, until they look like an Igor or The Hunchback Of Notredame.
It's funny to see the cartoon getting all stressed out, but at the same time saddening to see what was an attractive cartoon representation of a person, become a hideous, caricature of their once attractive self because of the burden of all the stress placed on them.
