Basically, the idea is that politicians share their political philosophy with people by using examples of how their political strategy will directly impact an everyday person's life.

How To Visualize Energy
  • Again, everything is energy.
  • Helpful visualizations are : lightning, fire, light, forms of energy that you have "actually" seen in your life experience. They are "verifiable" expressions of energy which are quantifiable and univesally shared experiences (everyone knows what lightning looks like).
  • Now, even though you cannot see the energy you are producing, you can "feel" it. Being aware of your energy is like being aware of hunger, fatigue, pain, thirst, or any of the other experiences we human beings have.
Conclusion
  • One more time, everything is energy.
  • It is another level of self-awareness to be aware of your energy state.

New MMO Game : The Learning

Premise

The MMO environment creates a fantastic opportunity for collaborative learning and problem solving.

The joy of learning.
The joy of teaching others.
The cyclical joy of communal, human growth.

Premise : Learning

Each of the classes levels up to harder and harder levels of difficulty of problems within their chosen class.

Perhaps, by the end of the game, players will find themselves with University levels of understanding in Music, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Art, etc.

Format

The game has a traditional world of exploration feel to it.

Plenty of NPC's to meet.

Format : Competition

Competition in The Learning is based on the Pokemon model :
competition is a chance to challenge yourself,
competition is a chance to learn,
competition is "meaningless" when it is about standing on your enemy's corpse and laughing over it.

Competition : The Duels

Dueling is an essential part of The Learning.

Players of similar levels are given level-appropriate puzzles and try to complete them in a specific amount of time.

The Duels : Spirit Guide Points

One of the most unique features of The Learning is gaining Spirit Guide Points (which can be, of course, cashed in for new gear).

Players who win duels can become Spirit Guides for the losers (losers willing of course).

The puzzles of the duel are repeated, but, the loser completes them alone, with a twist. The other player provides structured assistance :
  • The other player is connected to the loser with a special kind of word burst chat. Short bursts of advice can be given, but not full explanations (to keep things still challenging).
  • The other player can complete small bits of the puzzle for the other player (e.g. In a Word Challenge, the Spirit Guide can fill in a letter of the word in specific time increments) helping to guide the loser to the answer.
The Spirit Guide is awarded points calculated as a percentage of how much they improved the loser's score.

Pretty cool huh?

Both players benefit.
Just how competition is supposed to be.

The style of puzzles is similar in concept to those found in the Dr. Brain series.

Characters in this class solve the game's music puzzles.

Sadly...violence and aggression are still very much a part of the human persona at this stage of our evolution.
This, of course, is a product of unexpressed or poor expressed needs and urges which become sublimated into violence.
A simple way to understand this is a child who throws a temper tantrum :

because the poor child has needs which have not been met.
sometimes they are easy needs like food or a hug.
sometimes they are deeper needs of belonging and boredom.
Violence Is A Means Of Bringing Attention To An Unresolved Problem.

Combat Experience

Each player performs the traditional MMO role : tank, dps, healer, etc.
but with The Learning twist.

The Musician Class heals players with soothing music.
The Mathematical Class does dps (it's all about the numbers ^_^)
The Artist Class is the tank, holding enemies attention with chalk drawings.
etc.

What Is Combat In This Game?

Combat is more of a word to describe vigorous disagreement between parties.

Target Audience

This MMO can be appealing for everyone, but it is geared towards being non-violent.

The Goal or "Larger Purpose" Of The MMO

This MMO is a piece of what I call magic mirror software.

It shows its players, and the whole world, what life should be.

Life should be an adventure.
Life should be about constant learning.
Life should be about sharing and cooperating (in adventures and learning ^_^).
Life should be about growing.

The Ultimate Goal Of The Learning

The ultimate goal of The Learning is that after having played the game, experienced what it is like to spend time in endless learning, purposeful collaboration, and the joy of discovery, players want to make the real world that kind of place.

Psychological Technique : Not Distracting The Universe

Basic, Underlying Principle

When you remove "distractions", human beings invariably shift themselves into the natural movement of the universe.

In other words, when human beings do not distract themselves from life, they naturally move into the channels which are conducive to their natural development.

The Movement Of Galaxies

Galaxies when observed from great distances have a regular movement which is sublime and symmetrical.

Certainly, the closer the scale, the more minor deviations become noticeable, but, taken as a whole, galaxies move in majestic, sweeping, "natural" ways.

Example : The Universe's Approach To Dating

Expressed in a catchy phrase : "Let Nature Take Its Course."

When you are attracted to someone :
  • Don't Distract Yourself
  • Just Let Nature Take Its Course
The form this will take is obvious :
  • You will look at them
  • You will feel apprehensive
  • You will keep trying to look at them
  • You will think of ways to talk to them
  • You will continue stealing looks at them
  • and one of several things will happen :
  1. You will work up the courage to talk to them, and it will be a success or not.
  2. They will notice you having looked at them, and they will talk to you.
  3. Neither of you will talk to each other, and you will both continue on your day, BUT, if the connection had energy / magnetism , when you are in proximity again, the energy will build, and sooner or later, you will connect.
  4. That is the nature of the universe. That is the universe's approach to dating. Natural flow. The increase of energy, until realization.
Everyday Life

Turn off the tv.
Turn off the music.
Turn off the noise.
Listen to yourself.
Don't distract the universe, and you will feel yourself being pulled in the direction you need to go.

Free Will

The concept of "Free Will" was created to comfort people who were slaves, and dreamed of being able to one day choose a life better than that of base servility.

Healthy human beings do not need free will.

The Universe pulls them into the patterns of living conducive to their own unique energy signature.

The human quest is one for happiness.
Free Will is seen as being necessary to fight for that happiness.

When in balance with the universe, happiness does not have to be "fought for".
Happiness is something which comes like leaves carried along a stream.

Practical Application

At the very least, turn off the tv, buy a comfortable chair (Lazy Boy or Recliner with Ottoman), sit in your room, immersed in darkness and quiet, and listen to the universe, listen to yourself.

TV distracted me from a life I couldn't bring to focus.

My life has passed me by in a tv, video game, haze.

It's pitiable. I pity myself. I wish I lived in a society which didn't create tools meant to distract one from life.

...I wish I lived in a world where human beings actually wanted to nurture and take care of each other, rather than deceive and cheat each other.

I think we are capable of much more.
And I think that TV could be used as a tool for empowerment, not distraction.

New Anime : Treaty

Premise
  • Lance (short for Lancelot) is a drifter. He is a nice guy, with noble ideas and a good heart, but he just can't seem to get his act together. He's also kind of clumsy...
  • The world of Treaty is multifaceted. Different layers of awareness and intelligence. Some layers comprised of more evolved human beings, some with less. Lance is part of our layer (less evolved human beings). Human beings in the higher layers have been called "Gods" in the past. They sometimes "meddle" in the lower layers...but that's a story unto itself.
  • One day Lance encounters Cassandra, a girl in distress. He helps her. She grants him a unique power.
  • Lance finds himself given the gift / curse of Ultimate Treaty : effectively, he cannot be treated badly. Cannot. Period. This power is the source of great action, comedy, and tragedy.
  • Lance is always getting himself into trouble because he insists on being treated well, even though by society's standards he's just a drifter-nobody.
  • In the 1st episode, he offends a powerful group of Gangsters because he refuses to pay them protection money for his friend's store. So, the action begins. The Gangsters try to make an example of him to the neighborhood, but they cannot touch him. He has Infinite Dodge / Infinite Anticipation. They cannot punch, tackle, grab, stab, trap, run over, or even shoot him, no matter how hard they try, no matter how many of them there are. The action is fast, intense...but funny.
  • Lance is a nice guy. Non-violent. He just believes in being treated with respect. He clumsily dodges and avoids everything the Gangsters throw at him, completely shocked at the new power himself. It's like he's invincible, although his body moves itself out of the way of harm, he is not an impenetrable colossus. [I'm a big fan of Spider-Man's amazing dodging abilities.]
  • Eventually, the Gangster's have to give up, and Lance insists on lecturing them on their miscreant ways. The Gangsters have no choice but to treat him with respect, what else can they do? The Gangsters agree to leave Lance's friend alone.
  • Lance secures a victory!...but it has a price.
  • Lance cannot "fight" anyone. It's part of his nature, and his power.
  • Lance can only be treated with respect, but the people around him can still be walked over, and he can't stop bullies from doing so physically. Only with his words...and whatever else he can think of.
  • Lance is a nice guy, with a good heart, and an incredible power. He will continue to be himself, and use his power to have treaties with people that are respectful. Further, he can't help but want to use his power to help other people. He can't save them directly...but maybe there are ways he can intercede on their behalf...
  • All the while, the other layers of human awareness are watching. What do other human beings think of a super human with a good heart trying to help people around him to evolve? the plot thickens...

  1. An employee works hard and the fair exchange is being taught everything they want to learn.
  2. An employee who works hard and has a desire to learn is taught everything they want to learn, as fast as they want to learn it.
  3. ...sadly many employers at this point will indicate that this will result in employees not being able to do their original duties well. To these employers of limited vision I say that : a) You need to believe in your people more. b) Employees who want to learn have a good attitude, which extends to performing their original duties well. A desire to learn is a guarantee of a person who wants to do well, and this naturally includes ALL their duties.
  4. Eventually the employee will have learned all they can out of the job and be ready to move on. If the employee is quick, this might mean a very short amount of time. The employer might be concerned they invested time and gotten very little productivity. This is easily addressed.
  5. The Employee's Honor : Employers who believe in their employees and teach them everything they want, as fast as they want it, gain their employee's respect and honor. The employee makes a commitment then to stay with their Employer, performing all their duties, until the Employer finds someone to take over their duties. Further, the employee pays it forward and personally helps to train their replacement with the same attention and faith they were trained in.
  6. This is The Fair Exchange between Employers and Employees.

  • My MO (Modus Operandai) is to teach everything I know, to everyone, as fast as they want to learn it.
  • We are still a competition-based society, which has no qualms with leaving people to rot in empty, unfulfilling jobs, because they can't find the way to fit into this neurotic, Capitalist world.
  • My philosophy is that everything I know how to do, I teach. Because everyone deserves to have a good life, just as I do, and in a non-Star Trek society of aggressive competition, and complete willingness to abandon people to despair and misery, it is essential that people be taught the skills they need to "make it".
  • I teach gladly. I teach openly. I teach welcomely. Teaching is a human joy. It is perverted and twisted by a competition-based, Capitalist philosophy. Capitalists believe people are naturally selfish and greedy and self-serving. I believe the opposite. That is why I act the way I do.
  • ...as for me. It's about time I seek out people with my philosophy. I'm tired of draining my energies with work where the philosophy is not one of teaching and sharing. no more feeding daisies to stones.

Video Game Peripheral : Break-Light Simulator

Based On Sega Activator

Extremely simple concept.

Concept

Breaking the infrared light activates the corresponding command in the game.

A framework is built which can house the infrared lights in different positions.

Example : The Roundhouse Kick

The framework is built to the equivalent of the height of a human head and the infrared light is attached to the corresponding height.

The framework would probably be best built out of durable plastic, to be flexible, inexpensive, and easy to assemble and disassemble.

The player simply executes roundhouse kicks at the height of the sensor to break the light-beam and this activates the corresponding movement in the game.

This basic example can be adopted for a wide range of physical activities.

The Game's "Modular Cage" Design

Every game would come with a detailed instructional video on how to set up the break-light framework for the particular game.

For example, fighting games would have the player set up the framework into a cage which positioned the infrared lights at positions for kicks, punches, blocks, and dodges.

Accuracy

Infrared light technology is well-used.

The Garage Door sensor operates on the principle of an infrared light.

Infrared lights are quick and responsive.

Modularity and Cost

Players can expand on their modularity as their budget allows.

To begin, they can purchase 1 or 2 lights, and just enough framework to create a simple stand design for the lights to simulate a simple boxing speed bag workout.

As the player's budget allows, they can construct more and more complex gaming modular cages to do a wider range of activities.
